All eyes turn to Varsity 2024 and returning the silverware back to Cardiff University

The Men’s 1st XV season in BUCS Super Rugby has now finished.

There was potential of finishing 8th in the league table with our final game against Bath University, with Nottingham losing to Hartpury in their final game — it was game on for Cardiff. However, after going 26-0 up at half-time, the team lost 26-29, finishing in 9th position.

A tough season, yet, BSR status confirmed for 2024/25 and now the team builds for the forthcoming season.

Though there is one more game to be played …

The game is Swansea University v Cardiff University, the only Welsh Varsity and the second biggest Varsity in the UK.

The last Varsity belongs to Cardiff after beating Swansea at the Arms Park 19-15.

We now visit the Swansea.com stadium to battle out against Swansea University on Wednesday 24 April.
