Our Men’s 7s team were runners up in the BUCS 7s competition held in Bournemouth on May 8th 2024.
In what was a tough pool, the team played Cardiff Met, Loughborough and Edinburgh, winning only one game in the pool. However, due to the team picking up valuable bonus points the team qualified for the trophy competition.
From there, the road to the final saw the team play Bath in the quarter-final, Loughborough in the semi-final and Durham in the final.
The final match against Durham was an excellent game where the match ended 26-26. The match, as per rules, proceeded into ‘golden point’ where basically next person to score wins.
