Cardiff University Men’s Rugby is proud to congratulate student-athlete Lloyd McEwan-Peters on earning senior international honours with the Wales Rugby League men’s team. The Cardiff centre was selected for Wales’ autumn fixtures and made an outstanding impression on debut.
McEwan-Peters, who continues to balance academic life with high-performance rugby, was named in Wales’ 19-man squad for their fixture against Ireland. He crowned his first senior cap with a superb try as Wales secured an emphatic 24–0 victory at The Gnoll, highlighting his potential at the elite level.
Having previously represented Wales at U16 level, McEwan-Peters’ promotion to the senior squad marks a significant milestone in his development. Alongside his university commitments, he has featured for Hunslet RLFC, showcasing the pace, physicality, and decision-making that impressed national selectors.
